Snagged these gates the other week on Facebook. Couldn't believe it near enough perfect fit. 20 quid. Dobbed them on this afternoon after managing to find a couple of coach screws this week lying around 180mm long, there was some black spray there too so gave them a squirt. Bolt thru the holes in exist conc post on 1 side into some 4x3 and the other side just squeezed a bit of 4x2 behind the feather edge board and an existing timber rail bolted to the post. Gonna change the planning on this bit of ground and my thinking is if the gates look like theyve been there awhile less chance any conditions about gates get put on the planning. Ok they can always streetview previous years but its worth a 20 quid gamble.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
or it's been running over rich and the exhaust is completely choked with oiled carbon .... take the exhaust off and see what it's like (and how it runs without it - other than loud)?
if it's heavy/coked badly, cook it with a blowlamp and clear out the residue

Decided this afternoon to give this the chop
IMG_20260328_162117.jpg

Bought it a good few years back in the days of the TB145 for £50. The guy I bought it off had it for his MF50. Chopped off the old bucket ears and cut out and glued on the S45 hitch.
It's 150 wide and 1100 deep. It's a bit of a pointless bucket but if got some duct to bury so will give it a go.

It's more like a long ripper tooth 😄

Couple of days at the blueberry farm 🤷‍♂️ round the corner pretty much, ductings in 160mm for the new solar pannals from the hanger to the road, bit awkward with other services and topwater from the farm all over, but job jobbed in great weather.
finished off with a few extra bits to soften up the old farmyard.

Nice easy enclosure install in Ealing this morning, away by 11 and only cost 4 quid in parking 😆
Lit the big fire in the field- ideal time to do it, nearest neighbours are away.
I turned the back of the pile forwards a couple of weeks ago with the digger, pushed the front up with the loader, burnt really well and not a ton of smoke 👍👍 certainly wouldn't have parked there at 2pm this afternoon 😅 😳 😆

Been a long few weeks. Slabs laid same pattern as other areas.
Bamboo should be classed the same as knotweed, nightmare stuff.
Started last Monday and lost 2 days from the off!
