Newly qualified midwives can't get jobs as the NHS trusts can't afford to pay them.
For each baby born an insurance premium of something in the region of £2000 has to be paid.
I wonder what the management pay themselves to organise such an upside down system
I seem to remember a mental statistic regarding claims on midwives..as in it’s very very common!
this must be 'a new thing' - had a GF in the mid 80,s who was a midwife and she had none of these issues
Hospital she was employed by covered everything .... must be all down to the litigious snowflake mentality we all live with these days

I'd like to say I'd laugh but it's not that, it's just now a sad fact of our society or should I say the mentality of our modern day society.
