What sort of price do you call great? :geek:
Weighed a load of non ferris in last week and got these prices per tonne pro rata from the dealer:
Heavy copper £5,400
Brass £3,300
Copper tanks £45
Did that with my 14 year old grandson Jack, teaching him the value of scrap metal.
He loved it 'cos having handles and sorted it all for me I gave him 50%
So our small pickup truck load paid for a tank of diesel and an ice cream each :giggle:
Sounds about right, it’s been better and it’s been worse!

Well that's a relief that I was getting the right price:ROFLMAO:
So that's two grandsons that I have now trained in 'the value of scrap metal' competency :geek:
And we now have two old mobile homes on my land that need to be dismantled and scrapped.
Gonna use the mini digger to do the hard work
The aluminium will be worth a fortune...

Ah well. That's the end of that chapter. Sad to see it go.
Gone down to deepest darkest Cornwall.

Onwards and upwards . A lot of machine for someone :).
It's deffo gone to the right home- a youngish chap who drives a duck for a company but wants to start doing his own stuff. Id have liked to have kept it if I had somewhere dry to keep it but the reality is I know what the next 2 years of work looks like and what machinery I need at the mo and it isn't a duck so therefore better to let it go before it deteriorates sitting around.

It does. Id say that one is shabbier than mine was too. Mind you his isn't selling been on marketplace for ages
no chance at that price -- too shabby for a premium asking price
