Any one try’d the rammer E01 breaker?

Says range from 0.8-2.8t , Thinking could use on micro & 2.8T machine if any good rather than a breaker for each machine 🤷‍♂️

My Rammer 111 is 70kg (actually slightly heavier than that new model) and is perfect for the micro and 1.9t. I do use it under the 2.7t, but only at low revs and on light work.

The flow rating on that is similar to the 111 at 32 litres per minute. So no, it's not actually suitable for a 2.7t at 50+lpm flow.

It'll be ideal for the micro, but you'll want something larger for the 2.7t especially if the concrete is thick and you want to use all the flow available (which you will on thick concrete)

Depends what kind of machine, but you could go up a weight class on the pecker. With a micro, most of the problem is the lack of lift height- so the cheap Chinese models don't work well as they are very tall.

At 90kg and 15-50lpm flow the E02 looks much better suited. https://rammertest.portal.sandvik/en/products/hydraulic-hammers/excellence-line/compact-range/e02/
Yes E02 is what am thinking now as want to share them and company will take my old rammer S22 back in as p/x

Rammer 111 seems to work quite happily on a micro and a 2.6 ton machine. I do go very gentle with the big machine though.

Got an epiroc sb102 that I share between the doosans micro and 3t JCB
Epiroc own specs say 1.1-3t but flow rate on the 8026 is way above so run it under half revs
Weighs around 90kg and the micro manages it fine

You’re still not getting full potential out of the 2.7t that way.

It’s really not possible to share between micro and 2.7t and be efficient.

ive hammers for all my machines and they really don't work on a straight scale the sb100 on the micro isn't a 3rd the Krupp on the 3 ton and epiroch on the 5 is 4x the 3 ton then big 8 ton Takeuchi breaker is 6x effective as the 5 ton etc then when you hire one on the 16 ton that weighs about 2 ton its impressive what you get through.

Rarely use the breaker and even then its likely to be on the micro. A properly spec breaker for the 3t would be an improvement but for how often its used its fine how im currently set
