Anyone recommend a good cordless vacuum for car.

TBF the parkside does everything that is required of it
I know the Milwaukee will be far nicer and I also want some of the other M12 tools but I simply can't buy the Milwaukee until the parkside breaks.

TBF, all the Aldi/Ferrex stuff I've had has been excellent ....
I have 'killed' one 5" grinder, but it had a good two years hammer and there's summat rattling about inside, so it's probably a broken component as opposed to 'burning'/wearing it out.
It's got 3 yrs warranty so it ought to go back, but am tempted to bust the seal and take a look myself - can't be a lot wrong in there - guessing a switch component or terminal busted off ...
for what I do (aside from the grinders) with them, they'll probably last me a long time ....
and have got a fair selection of their tools
wouldn't have put them out on the benches in work, but then why would we use cordless, with multiple power sockets every 15 ft in the shop?
Dewalt, Makita, Hitachi grinders/drills/etc. were the main stay on the benches and all took a caning daily

Simon has one of Lidl's little plasmas he bought some time ago ... I've used it on 3mm - ain't bad - has a built in compressor in it, which does work, but I connected it up to my air line for what I was doing with it
my big 120/130A is the boy for anything bigger, but have to run the genny for it

I have a proper one i never use that wants to go

what is it and combien SVP
transformer or inverter?

Its that one - I paid £780 plus vat - long lead (euro connector ?) Some spare nozzles - cutting wheel gadget - not used it more than twice - and a moisture trap iirc

That's one I have, it's ok but still unsure on it. It's surprising bulky but you can lock the trigger on which is handy so you can sit it down while using the Flexi wand. I mostly use it for when I clean the pickup or car. Used it the other day for hoovering up the 8026 was mostly loose small bits of dirt that were on the seat cover and under it it didn't cope to well with the dried in bits of dirt to be fair it was quite engrained so rub ing the attachment against it got some of it but not all, not sure if a proper vac would have managed a lot better but it probably wants some sort of foaming action cleaner on it
It's handy but nowhere close to a proper plug in 240v vac

I’ve got the older version. Ok for short burst spot cleaning but really need corded vac for decent or prolonged suction in my opinion

Moving air around forcibly is power hungry. I have been gradually transitioning to cordless kit over the years, but a good 230v numatic vaccum with a Hepa bag is not going to be matched by anything cordless.
