Crusher Hire

We have a large demo job next year (row of 5 x 4 bed houses), I'm thinking of crushing the lot into type 1 and keeping as you can never have too much stock of type 1 right?

Cost wise, which is the cheaper hire a crusher bucket for a 18 tonner or one of the tracked crushers ? Would look to do the lot in 3 days.

Any good companies near Worcester ?

Smiths in Gloucester also have a couple of tracked crushers. I rate the rubble master but don’t have anyone running one around this area at the moment. They have gone bigger. There is also PIC based around here running a Red Rhino 5000 but that is probably too small.

May be worth there any agricultural contractos near you that run tractor driven crushers possibly easier to arange than a tracked machine

Hope you’re able to carry out this task without sacrificing a lot of your budget. I experienced working with construction hire companies in the past, and it’s very rare to see ones who are offering unsafe services or substandard equipment. But when it comes to getting the cheapest rates, I think it’s always best to consider those suppliers who are nearest to you. This way, you can spend less money on transportation expenses. For instance, we usually avail of the crushing hire services of Tyne Tees Crushing & Screening Ltd since they’re the most accessible for us, thus costing us less money. So aside from the quality of work and equipment, one thing that you should not forget to take into account is your location.

I can’t work out if you’re a posh **** or an Indian spambot. 😂
Either way if that’s all you have to add to the discussion, f**k off.

Ffs, no need for that, thought we were supposed to be getting away from this mentality that was one of the downfalls of the last forum

I did consider both options here Doob, although I certainly wouldn't have put it in the language that you have used. Let's give this guy the benefit of the doubt and say that he's a real person with no interest in the aforementioned Tyne Tees Crushing & Screening Ltd. The point he's making is fairly obvious and, whilst well-articulated, pretty bland. He could also have done what was always recommended on the old CEF, and I think is also the case here, that any new member should introduce themselves first before wading in with War and Peace.

I'd echo Ollie's point - there's a balance between discouraging spammers and welcoming Newbies. We need more of the latter and I think your comments will put some off.

All, as always, IMHO :)

Agree with the premise mate, but spambots are recognisable a mile off.

Had he come in here saying, hi guys, I run a crusher business nearby, here's a load of interesting pics one of my machines, it's awesome, what do you guys run? he'd have been welcomed with open arms.

I've got precisely the same problem Ropy.......

As you well know, you have to invest in a new Yellow 'un to keep warm this winter 🥶. Mind you, you could probably make one up by stitching all of the hats that we've sent you together🎩🎩🎩
