Extra service on E10?

Surprising amount of room on the E10 around the offset ram to divert the flow for a second aux, especially once I remove the horn.

Is this the kind of valve I need? Would modify the lever so it goes up and out the footplate or out the side.

@V8Druid, i know its not a cetop but i reckon you'll know...
@CPS... you got anything suitable that could come in the parcel with the headstock? 1/4" ideally but 3/8 is fine too.

Not happening, I'm not running wires for no reason. I will be able to reach the divertor from the seat!

well that valve'd do the job fine and as it's manual, little to go wrong, but why not just do it with a solenoid op. 6x2 diverter - put it anywhere and change at the flick of a switch/press of a button (momentary or locking) - lot less hassle than plumbing to a fixed position rotary block

What's that valve for that's already there? Mine didn't have that i dont think?

I have no manual ones, do have some nice wee 12v ones, il check on Monday if they do.

To be fair, that flow fit one if probably the best if you want manual

I think that's the electronic change over for the blade/tracks.

Kubota d722, oil and filters at 100 hours.- manual says 1000 hours which is bollocks.
Fuel filter 250 hours
Manual says 500 hours for hydraulic filter and 1000 hours for oil but for the 8 litres it takes to change the tank contents I do it every 250 hours
Manual says 1000 hours for final drive oils but I do every 200 hours.

It’s not difficult. Often need a pair of decent swan necks to loosen the engine filter unless you have impossibly tiny hands.

For the hydraulic oil there is a 1/4” return at the bottom- remove the side panel.

You’ll need a bit of glossy card or similar to funnel the oil from both into the bowl without getting it all over the framework. You can see the extra oil cooler in this photo- blow both out whilst you have the cover off.

Just did mine, it had been out on hire for the last three weeks with a breaker. Very pleased to see that the hydraulic oil still looked like new after 250 hours. I’m pretty anal about it but it’s the lifeblood of any machine. 250 hours is not a short interval- both the Multione and the alpine are hydrostatic and have their hydraulic oil service interval at 250 hours. A digger is generally less stressed but the oil will soon heat up running things like a breaker or tracking everywhere in high. The E10 took 8 litres to change the tank which is probably half the entire system.

You can tell it’s been on hire because of the blade.. that’s another £175 on the bill unless it can be straightened on the press.
