E10 vs dx10

Has anyone got the new dx10?

Time has come for an upgrade of the current one.

Yes I know its 20mm wider, but that's not much of a big deal with my other micro been 700 wide.

Current prices with no haggling are £16,750 dx10 and £17,000 e10.

Oh my goodness, how s**t does that look🤣 I thought it was only JCB could come up with that arrangement and even they stopped doing it after a while
Komatsu did it long before jcb.

I'm not fussed what it looks like, just wondering if anyone on here had got some experience of them now they've been out 18mths or so.

Yeah but I had some of those 814's and gave them lots of grief - never a boom problem, had a conventional boom Crack on a 802 super though, they prob only stopped doing them because people didnt like the look of them.

Extra oil cooler is £200 on the e10....I thought that was prity standard now.
Love how they claim to have developed a totally new machine since the Doosan/Bobcat split.... yet things like that which were specific to that model are still the same!

If you're going to redesign a machine, do it right!

Like I said that's the e10. I had the extra hyd cooler on on my current e10 but I just assumed they ordered them from the factory as standard now.

From what I've seen there is no option for a hydraulic cooler on the new dx10 so I assume it's standard or doesn't need one.

If I went for the e10 I'd want the hydraulic cooler fitted as my ex local bobcat dealer showed me a melted hydraulic tank 😱, that was in 2016 and hence thinking it was standard now.

To be fair the new dx10 has quite a few changes, plus on paper it has 300mm more reach on ground, height and depth, plus more bucket and arm force.
Looks like the dx10 still has the oil cooler and two way aux as standard which are both options on the E10.
Biggest plus for the dx10, they got rid of that utter crap blade design

@hiluxman did you get a price for the case cx12 or cx14 they are a bit wide for a micro at 780mm both seem to be the same footprint, I've seen they are doing two very low interest offers but oddly enough zero interest in actually getting back to people with prices

Apologies, misread.

Yes, I agree, it should be standard.

They've kept the D702 engine though- should have kept it at 710mm.

I reckon a case CX14 must be £20k plus. Case minis are so overpriced.

Smart looking micros though, don't find the dx10 to be very comfortable in regards to foot position

So to conclude....this virus is nasty and persistent. Worst I've ever been.

But back to the subject in hand, I won't be finding out what a new dx10 is like to live with.

Order has been placed for a new e10 with the hydraulic cooler.

They are taking my old 2.8t in px and I was happy enough with what they offered for it.

Dare say once the new e10 lands, I'll be giving the current e10 a service and a good clean, then I'll be putting it up for sale.

I think you made the right choice. 710mm is needed more times than one might think, and the E10 is a great little machine. Very little goes wrong with them and residuals are excellent. Very comfy to spend a full shift on too.

What money was the new model?
