Track motor seals leaking...

Track motor seals have started leaking on my TB125. Oil coming out from behind the sprockets, is it a fairly straightforward job to change the seals anyone know? Never had to do it. Also anyone recommend a good supplier of the seals?
Cheers

Just get a service exchange drive unit off FDC in Colchester. Costs a bomb from takeuchi for the seals :(

Aren’t they like £1300 or something to exchange the units though? I’ve been pretty good at changing oil in the motors so would think they’re in quite good condition still.

Yes they are, but the chances are if the seals are kyboshed then the brass rings in between the drive/housing are worn.... they are the expensive bit sadly :(

Is the final drive oil going down? Might be leaking hydraulic oil via the motor shaft?

It’s definitely final drive oil. Haven’t checked the levels as only noticed this afternoon- the other motor has a slight weep too. Just looked at FDC, seals are £300 plus vat. Crike, thought it’d be about £40!

Still haven't got round to this 4 years later! both motors are still tracking true and strong but also both leaking- not major but weeping a few drips here and there. Just kept an eye on levels and got another 4 years of use out of them but I guess the inevitable is coming. Whether it's worth doing or selling the machine on (I'd say on the ad they were leaking btw!) as it's on nearly 5000hrs now

My spring purchasing window is getting closer 🤣

With the price of new machines currently I'd be moving it on and buying brand new.
Yes probably true but I like to have an older machine in the fleet for rough work or leaving in areas where higher likely to be pinched/vandalised, running two 3 tonners works very well for me but suppose the newer one could become the older one and replace older one with a brand spanker if I could find anything that excites me enough
