If you already have the buckets, Hartford wedgelock are good. I like ratchet type hitches as they compensate for different wear in various buckets.

@Routy56 bought one on my recommendation recently, ask him how he’s getting on. I’ve had no problems in 2000 hours with mine, and expect the same from the newer one on my micro.

We do them as well. Auto or manual S type, depending on whether you have a hitch circuit or not. If you are likely to consider a tilty in the future then S type is the way to go.

Thanks for all replies. I can't ever imagine having a tilty thing. I've got a tilty grading bucket i use hardly ever.
I've got 2 diggers on 25mm pins, so might go for 2. Think I'm looking at a spring hitch type. Because not sure all my buckets are the same pin centre's. I've got a case and kabota.

Sounds obvious but make sure its well designed - I bought one for a 1.5T from some outfit over here ....... FFS hardly any crowd which is PITA when you are loading things relatively high and non reversible which comes in handy occasionally ... I never even asked the questions because I assumed it would be thought through

I'd go for a positive locking system Dylan ... spring hitch on jake is well tired and seriously floppy ... needs some attention and /or a new spring

The kobota crowd is rubbish anyway. The geometry was wrong from new.
Will give it plenty of thought.

Agree harford wedgelock.i put 4000 hours on one swapped between 3 ton and half volvos and still good as new.got one on current ecr25d called prolock now with red pin on front indicating its locked

Yes i emailed them earlier and amazingly got a reply asking what model machine they were for.

Mine came with machine so I don’t know the cost.found em helpful at plant worx and asked for price on ripper tine.managing director gave me a price and his card.still not heard from 4 other companies I spoke too.very competitive so he got my business.they now sell direct unlike 2 years ago when I wanted another set of buckets and was told to contact my dealer.rhinox got my business that time

Yep - bought a Harford Pro-Lok ET20 last January 2019.
It was £613.20 including VAT and delivery.
Made to order for my Neuson 1503RD
Best thing I have bought recently
Had the extra 1 tonne lifting eye added. This came with a Certificate.
Again the best thing I've done recently.

Seen here just after I fitted it and tarted up all my covered buckets

Since January, I've done some serious work with this hitch and done hundreds of bucket changes.
It even come with a 3/8" drive ratchet which I keep under my seat.
It never comes loose because it's a wedge system

So, yes I really do recommend Harford to you - go for it
