Hmm think touch and go on the 216 the distance between the inner edges of the 2 pins needs to be greater than the minimum cheek to cheek width. Basically if you can get your quick hitch to drop down perpendicular between the pins then it's doable...
Yea we build then like that, some smaller ones aren't easy to do like that

well I made a multi-positional one for the Haner, but Dala Gripen make one that'll do IIRC 30 deg increments (or maybe it was 15 deg.s)

.. and I've only seen S type pick ups yes - the lock isn't spring loaded and has to be manually locked in position so you could leave it 'free rotating' -- I can with mine too
