Looks an honest work truck. I like the roof rack. Shame mine is a 90 or I would be pestering you to sell it to me for my roof tent.
I think the pick ups don’t go for the stupid money that some of the blinged up station wagons of van backs go for. But with a TD5 that will make someone a nice truck!!

I’m going for a test drive of one on Saturday. Looking at the commercial version.

Had the test drive this morning, drove it for about half an hour and my left knee was starting to seize up. Gutted as I liked everything else about it but just couldn’t get on with the driving position.

Yes I found it a bit weird but I reckon I could have lived with it.
Took Jimny for a long run out round all the lanes this afternoon. What a cracking little thing ,can't believe I e not had one before, absolutely perfect for this neck of the woods . Watching X5s dive into the hedge and and you just go barreling through

Yes and the pedals seem to be offset to the right as well because of it. I thought it was fine to drive otherwise, the steering is a bit different but I think you’d soon get used to it.

I think it's put a lot of people off seen a few youtoob vids when it 1st came out complaining about it

The more I've been looking into them. And given them few years to iron things out (few tweaks to this year's model) the more I think I'll be getting one ....self service is actually welcomed and facilitated. 5 year unlimited mile warranty etc. deffo feels only new vehicle I could see myself owning long term....
