It just makes me think of the work that went into creating such a thing .. how old is it ? Mechanically or manually created ?

Few bits from the week. Got first sections of footings poured. Had 2 dewatering holes to do for the pool contractors. First one no dramas second one head got caught in what we later found to be a old garden wall. Better to happen high up i suppose but still a pain. And made a start getting ground beams ready.

Sheered the coupling off the auger!? You'd think they'd be made to take the force of an auger jamming surely?

how far down was the wall ?

must've come to a blinding halt .. clean break that

you've got to have a go at those Dan, if they came at that sort of level, I'd wager a decent killing could be made .. although, TBH at that price I'd be hard pushed to pass them on - better than money in the bank ... unless we have an apocalypse next week

Its only taking surface water off a little 2m2 flat roof so didnt need to be to pretty, just round to meet drain run.

The wall was probably 600/700 down. Must of been very old, those tall trees are practically on too of it.

Yeah that’s about going local rate, my mates sells them into that there londinium and they pay silly money from the northern monkeys. If you’re mate gets desperate Percy Mycocks of the concrete lot will have them but I’d wager he’d offer 2-2.5 for both

retail price ,no money in them by time you have moved them a couple of times

My mates got 2 x 15ft long stone trough's in his farmyard, never seen anything like it! about 2ft square.. don’t think he knows quite how rare they are that kind of size! Look like huge feed troughs
