I guess if they're not chaffing the hoses/dipper then it's probably neater to have them tucked in like that- keeps them out of the way. Surprising how a hose rubbing on steel can wear the steel down over time- I found a hose one one of mine that rubs funny and it's worn noticeably into the 8mm steelWhen I get a chance, I`ll have a look if there is any reason it can/cant be done.
