Didn't someone pay 22k for a brand new one recently or did I imagine it 🤔
Back in 2020 a single wheel chassis was about 19k. I think to add tipper body and tow bar and dual wheel and auto option was another 4K ish? I will have it on emails somewhere.

Looks good but what about storage ?
Out Dmax usually only goes out with a trailer on and as a support vehicle for a fully kitted out van when we are on tank install jobs. It’s a utility spec, so the space behind the seats is useful.

I shan’t be swapping as chucking another 10k to upgrade Dmax makes no sense financially. Also my crane trailer is sufficiently heavy that if I put it behind a van it means I’m asking to be tugged for no operators license :-(

Local dealer that gets through a lot of stock. Never dealt with him. Price did make me look twice. Seems a bit cheap to me!!

It's doosan they rebranded last year
Yeah it just looks strange, no slew rams on it. Cheap as well, made me think it might’ve been something Chinese stickered up in Develon colours.

I wonder if someone has slapped a set of decals on a Chinese machine or if it's a grey import.
I think grey import from googling.

No DX60E listed on Develon Europe website 🤔 One going through euro auctions mentions no CE mark….
Wasn’t the CE standard about European legislation that got all the levers the same way.
Why is that an issue ? That’s a cheap digger in my opinion . If it works well and will keep going and your prepared to take a risk on parts availability then might be worth a punt . When I was more in the know about what hitachi was what I bought grey import machines with old hitachi lever pattern and they were far superior to what was available from uk hitachi as they had hands tied and could only sell fiat Hitachi’s . I know some guys like them but they were shite compared to grey imported Hitachi’s from Japan .

Cheap for a reason. Asian specification machine and no king post ram. No CE mark and I would guess that no warranty!!
Would make a decent farm owner machine but I don’t think you can put an employee on a non conforming machine even if we are no longer in the EU!! But I await further clarification from others on that point!

We had 3 imports that we changed the lever pattern, sticker we up and had CE marked. Run them with no issues.

CE mark also includes safety measures, and engine conformity, most UK dealerships won't touch a grey import machine for warranty/service etc as it's not part of their area sales, grey import is fine as long as it has a good aftermarket backup or a very good friend in the local dealership.
