JCB 8026 track lever jammed?

So the right track on my excavator won’t move forward properly, sounds like the lever is hitting something. I gained access to the bottom of the levers where it joins to another mechanism to remove all the debris in there but still it’s not working. Moves backwards freely and sounds like it’s hitting metal or a stone when moved forward. Is there somewhere else (the other end?) to check?

Any help appreciated from a complete noob if you hadn’t already guessed.

No it’s moving freely in one direction and only a slight movement in the other direction. So not frozen but hitting something stopping the lever going full travel. Consequent the track only goes forward very very slowly.
