I do like the hydraulic thumb!!
See the idig plates on the little kub ...does it get much use ?Started this one Friday. Mid-terrace house getting rebuilt after gas explosion.
Helping the builders clear demo waste so they can actually be ready for me to start groundworks next week.

Honestly it's been so long since I used idig I almost forgot I had it, but it will be getting an outing on this jobSee the idig plates on the little kub ...does it get much use ?
It's brilliant for stuff like this... shifted 2 grab loads of timber including ripping out the floor etc without breaking a sweatI do like the hydraulic thumb!!
Nice looking setup- just the right machine for your workFirst day went pretty good. Pushed over plenty of trees no bother and delicate enough to clear them up once cut up View attachment 68608

There are a few would of been better but at that spec, money and hours you won't beat it, pay for itself in no time on the right work.TAB boom is wicked useful. Incredible the range it gives you and very handy for working uphill or lifting heavy loads whilst keeping them close.
The 86c flow shares nicely on the arm, grab and rotator. Tracking is the major letdown- it’s three and a half times the weight of an E27 yet less than double the horsepower and it shows. A 100c would have been better, but this is what came along cheap and low hours (still sub 400!)
Im moving it this Friday to do a week on a long term scrub pulling job we’ve been using the e27 on. A year on and it’s a lot more mature, this should be just the ticket. There are a few would have been better but at that spec, money and hours you won't beat it, pay for itself in no time on the right work.
Probably better than the TB290. That thing wouldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding trackingTAB boom is wicked useful. Incredible the range it gives you and very handy for working uphill or lifting heavy loads whilst keeping them close.

Nope- pure dogshit unfortunately. The digging power and grading is fine but tracking it robs all the power/flow and nothing to show for it. Couldn't believe how bad it was and would not want to be stuck at the bottom of a steep slippery slope with oneReally? I thought they were supposed to be good?
CAT would be where it’s at for me for a new digger, money no object, based on specs. 75hp for the 8 tonner. This Jake is 45, hardly any more than my 1.2t tractor!
Can you not get it mapped ? (Edit) I am assuming its common rail ECU controlled?Really? I thought they were supposed to be good?

The et90 is 75hp - would be my choice.Really? I thought they were supposed to be good?
