Multi way laser

Is anyone using a cheaper multi way laser??
I want something to check trades work on site. So it doesn't have to be super robust as won't have anyone working around it. And don't want huge expensive or bulky as I want to just leave in the truck. I have rotary laser for height, spirit levels tape measures and string lines for checking general work. But thought a laser might be nice and quick for checking corners and can stay in the truck as I don't always carry a rotary level with me.

I bought a cheap rotary from screwfix several years ago, to replace my 'nice one' that me mate cooked, trying to run it off his phone charger, as he'd forgotten the dedicated charger for the laser .... it's worked fine each time I've gotten it out to use and was circa 80 quid at the time -- pretty accurate too having checked it with my 'proper' Stanley, now and again

I would quite like multi way for checking brick corners and even internal trades as we are starting to do a bit of house building.
I have a total station for really accurate stuff

. Dad swears by his albeit he is easily pleased by technology but I know plenty of lads with them.

I've got the Leica L2G which is a bit more cash but green is deffo better.

Check the second hand market, there is no end of high end equipment going for peanuts. I got mine like that, it's like new, decent make, even came still in the box.

Got one of these for most of the lads when they were £50 each (I had loads of SFX vouchers) Really good little units. 10/10 would recommend

Agreed. If they can’t supply a copy of purchase invoice — walk away as odds on chance it’s been pinched

The 1 that rr building use on utub finds the receiver which is pretty cool, it's a dewalt but bet not cheap

doobins got a cool level, nivcomp or something like that. It can go round corners with no line of sight.
Its very quick to set up.

If this works ok as it looks,it may be a v cheapy thing. Gets a lot of good reviews..
Tempted to buy and try. Easy to return stuff now.
Sent a shaver back the other day and refund hit account as soon as post office man scanned it..
