Hi All

So Bobcat t2566

Started it up last week and started to drive straight away, felt like revving it too hard to get it going on an incline, same in forward and reverse (hardly moved)
Thought something not right..
Following week or so was fine..

Come this morning , same again but worse, would barely move.

There is a switch named 'Work' on this machine that turns from sensitive throttle to less sensitive for site work (for the want of a better word, im sure the experienced guys know),
Anyway once I moved the switch it seemed to work OK, I operated the machine in this switch mode for an hour or so , then switched back to the mode that didn't work and it seemed to function??

Switch fault or hydraulic?
I guessed not hydraulic or it wouldn't work in the other mode?

Is your brake paddle clear? I've had machines with a build up of dirt and s**t cause similar problems

Yeah pedal area all clear,

It's like it wants to go and moves a little but can't.

Bit like me on a Sunday morning

I always have mine on speed no.2 and work switch engaged (south), always worked until recently but a bit concerned I lost drive drive twice now

no i have mine on 1 ,and switch north for site ,there is manuals around

Much more responsive in north position, or mine is anyway

So still having the same problem with the Bobcat having to rev the bollocks off it to get it to crawl in the morning , then it sorts itself out and is fine for rest of day.

Yesterday as I was driving it it was doing it's usual crawl ( prob about half speed and response time) on high revs and all of a sudden it was like a switch flicked and it went into normal mode and was flying around.

I'm kind of guessing this isn't hydraulic due to how quick.iy changed.

Are there solenoids etc that I could check?
Any ideas?

Sounds like a good place to start for sure. Possibly the solenoid for work mode is getting stuck between ports?

No idea! Trace the wiring from the switch unless someone else knows.

Relays are often located together. The solenoid will probably be close to what it activates.

i do have a wiring diagram ,infact i have the whole pack of exploded diagrams and parts lists if you want them ,send me you email in a private message and i will endeavour to send the lot to you ,all 700 pages
