Hollow blocks

I'm after a supplier for 6" (140mm) High density hollow blocks in West of country. I've got opportunity of a cheap deal on a ex stock of local ones (about 500) at very low rate but will need the same again. All my local merchants can't get them.
Would prefer not to have to use 215mm as the 140mm will sit in the web of the steels nicely.

Am using panels for most of it, but want to divide 2 halves of building with fire rated wall. 14m x 5.5m at apex as its a gable end.. not ideal for precast panels due to wanting/needing it to go all the way up to steel rafters. Also want to use walls in the 2 bays with Ped Doors to hold it all together.

Maenkarne / Gelendening and I think Denis May dont do 140mm hollows according to Travis / Bradfords / RGB :-(

Do they need to be hollows? Could just use 140 solids.

I've done similar before on a warehouse partition - 6" blockwork up to about 2.5m then metal stud and pink plasterboard on top up to roof. Might work out cheaper?

I was thinking hollow block with horizontal rebar and filled with pokered reinforced concrete and rebar into footings may be little more resistant to the odd love tap from a loader tractor or a forklift.

Where we used to rent an extra bit of yard, they put some new units up and hid this.

No slab yet. Would put footings in for the big wall. Hoping to get panels and cladding up before the slab. Need to save up a bit as looking like 9k just for power floated slab in the big half. Little half will remain dirt floor .

I was going to put up block walls inbetween 3 units , mentioned it to my structural engineer and he said I had to put in extra steels pretty much every 6 meters, something to do with supporting the walls due to wind loading when the doors were open etc.. didn’t argue as it made sense. Can send you the plans if you want..

What about the solid Lego type blocks, could be removed easily down the line if you open the shed up?
