S30 and selector grabs for 1.5 ton

I'm wanting to set up my Takeuchi 217r with an s30 hitch, buckets and attachment plates.
Who should I be talking to for what bits? @CPS for the hitch?
Thinking I'll just buy new buckets, a couple at a time, a new ripper and a new general purpose rake as I think the cost of converting them will outweigh the cost of new. That then leaves my existing rakes and ripper right for the micro.
Am I right in thinking there are 2 widths of s30? If so which one for a 1.5?
I'm also looking at a selector grab like the one in the picture (thanks if whoevers it is is on here ), not bothered about a rotator at the moment, I'll just make the headstock square so I can bolt it on in both directions. Any recommendations?

That’s a JB equipment grab. Ok but heavy.

S30-180 is the most common, I’d just go with that.

Don’t make the headstock square. Have it at an angle so you can hold things vertically. Four bolts with the impact gun to adjust it.

BMC make lovely buckets.

S30-180 is pretty much a UK standard. There is S30-150 but they are very rare.

Also the Dala-gripen DGS012 selector grab is a brilliant peice of kit. Or the new DGI digging grabs are brilliant also

I’d go with DG over JB, but I’ve never used either.

20+ Kilos less than the JB one in my picture, that's a handy saving.
As one of my narrow buckets is plated at 41kg, (only one still legible) I'd say that's no heavier than the big digging/grading bucket

The weight makes all the difference on smaller machines. You pay for decent steel but it’s worth it.

I saw a haner in person a few days ago.they are cheap and they look cheap. Don’t reckon it would stick any punishment.

Anyone know where they came from? They suddenly started appearing brand new at auctions and the FB barrow boys started trying to double their money. I don’t believe for a second they are made in Germany.

Both the DGS12 and DGI12 are about £1670 complete with head bracket and hoses

Small grabs aren't mega money really - personally I wouldnt buy any less than a Dala Grippen or Intermercato. Love both my Intermercatos for the right jobs and have given them plenty of punishment too. Personally I prefer more selector style grab as like to be able to grab soil as well as rocks and brash etc. think they are a great all rounder

gonna need to be on summat bigger than Lil' Jakie to bust it Doob ... have had mine completely to bits and it seemed reasonably well put together, welds're decent and it went back together without any issues/struggles/hammering and banging ...
