I need an all rounder machine driver, no tickets necessary. Agri background ideal. They need to be local as all my work is within ten miles of base.

I've tried FB local groups. I've tried emailing the local agri colleges.

What have you used before thats got results? My last good guys came from factory closures, or just approacing me direct after seeing how I worked on site compared to their bosses at the time. Or friend of a friend. But I think all my phonebook contacts are now sick of texts asking if they know ayone looking for work.

What about a few time-lapse videos of the work you do and the machines in use that you have and post them on your local FB groups and even better local agri FB groups (even if they are buy and sell type)

Seriously though. It amazes me your struggling to find someone? You strike me as a fair sort, sure you expect a good worker but at the same time offering a wide range of interesting jobs without emphasis on ticket bullshit. Id have lept at something like this when I was 21.
Your not alone though it seems every small business I talk to seem to struggle to retain staff and I honestly don't know why...

'cos most of 'em expect everything for nothing ... actually having to earn money is an alien idea to the majority of youngsters (and older too these days) ... plus so few are even vaguely interested in anything manual/involving getting dirty/out of bed early regularly/told what to do/actually committing to do anything :mad:
money comes waaaaay to easy from handouts 🤬🤬
