Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and new to diggers in general. I'm looking for a budget friendly digger to use for my construction. I have come across Dax Industries and their 0.8-1 ton digger. Has anyone had any personal experience using them and could provide some insight?

Thanks

You could try and be a little more sympathetic with newbies, try saying the something like “the resale value wouldn’t be great” 🤣

A product name no one has ever heard before ✓
Phrases like "budget friendly" And "use for my construction" ✓
Getting not angry at all about being viewed as a piece of software ✓
Using type face to try to produce a smiley when the forum has a easy to use drop down 🤔
Awake at Druid O clock to post a mild mannered response about not being a bot within 8 minutes 🤔

But ignoring that what will happen is a circular discussion that will lead back to buying a Dax industries mini digger out of a box from china, and how good it's durability, build quality and budget friendliness is for my constructions...

I despise Ai bots and Advertisers with magic questions they concoct for the benefit of spamming keywords to generate traffic. I'm not infallible but there are plenty of tells. No mention of anything beyond construction's and no looking at other manufacturers that are mainstream of second hand machines.

I can assure you that I'm neither an advertiser or an AI bot. People jumping to conclusions without facts. I've started a small company, with a set of builders doing some odd jobs here and there. We've now taking it seriously, and want our own fleet of machinery to cut costs and expand.

A product name no one has ever heard before? Exactly why I'm asking in a plant forums for people to share their opinion.
Phrases like "budget friendly" and "use for my construction"? Aren't these phrases used by every company who wishes to save cost, but not at the expense of quality, hence the reason for my post in the first place??
Getting not angry at all about being viewed as a piece of software ? For all bark, you must be pretty insensitive to be angry if someone called you an AI.
Using type face to try to produce a smiley when the forum has an easy to use drop down 🤔? Maybe I'd rather make a post about my enquiry than search for emojis to display my reaction and take a shortcut.

If you have nothing constructive to say, then don't say it. Stop trying to belittle the newbies, and making this a toxic environment even though we deal with that s**t everyday. We're a startup, so we need to look at our funding, I've got my opinion on Dax, and I'll be staying away and look into others.

What was that crack.......

Not sure if others have shorter memories than me, but this whole thread reminds me of something that happened with a very similar looking yellowey Chinese digger prospective buyer, I mean seller.....

I'm off to finish this bottle of buckfast and go to bed now..... Nothing like mild mannered abuse. I've not even called it a name yet.....

Well I've not heard of Dax before, but having looked them up I would say the only real advantage of it is its unlikely to get stolen...
The spec's don't hold up well against any of the main brands (and in the micro/mini market, the Kubota is the benchmark really)
A very used micro digger from any of the major brands would be a much better bet - parts are available easily, they have a proven design and will put up with the job they are intended for. If it still works at the end of its life with you, then it will be worth what you paid for it - the Dax wont!
I really would avoid any of these cheap machines from the far east. Sany or Luigong are maybe the only exceptions currently for me - but they are more money than these Dax machines are pitched at.
What's your budget?

Thank you all for some of the constructive feedback minus the feral dude. Looking into investing more since the digger would be an integral part of the foundation, so something like a bobcat e10z, but will be doing bit more research.
