I used to ‘read’ FHM…. But once it became censored there was nothing left to ‘read’ so didn’t see the point….
I still buy a couple- I was a subscriber to LRO but when that went they switched my to Practical Classics which is fine by me- I bought it most months anyway, it's got loads in it compared to land rover mags and my step sister writes a column in it!Genuine question...how many folk actually read a magazine ?
I actually like them but never end buying them anymore. Used to religiously get top gear and truck and driver and LRO etc years ago...seem a ripoff now and full of ads.
If I want a review I go on YouTube
Some of the best are the American stuff imo. Where they get given it for a month and give it some real stick. Take some b#lls to dump your machine with some of them roughnecks but their the ones I trust as they give you it worts and all.

Exactly and buy doing their own channel they can for nothing...make a few quid if it's decent and avoid magazine middlemen... traditional media has had it's day.I used to buy a couple of modified Vw mags, but got to the point it was the same chequebook builds and same companies getting mentioned over and over. The shows went the same way. I’d rather see someone’s self built project that they have put time and effort into.
The money I've spent on magazines years ago I dread to think. Not bought 1 probably for 7 years at least I'd guess.Genuine question...how many folk actually read a magazine ?

Did they tell you to dig up the yard? Might explain why you were never invited againMany years ago finning invited me to a demo day. It was a literally dig up the yard day, no bollocks just properly test their machines. Was a great day but alas never been invited to one since.
Reminds me of the Andrew camarrata one where he just literally digs a huge hole at Hyundai expo stand.."let's just dig till someone tells us to stop"Took the word ‘demo’ day quite literally![]()
What a bell end he isI tried to get Nick Drew to do a write up at Plant Worx the year Trax passed, we had a stand there and the book etc that went to his family. Which many of you kindly signed
He said no, he didn’t like him and that was that…..
I just spat out my icecream. I'd of loved to of seen that pitiful wankstains face... I hope there is a afterlife as Trax would of found that hilarious.I tried to get Nick Drew to do a write up at Plant Worx the year Trax passed, we had a stand there and the book etc that went to his family. I can happily say that the feeling is not reciprocal from some of the, ahem employersI have a chuckle every time I look at his “Diggerman“ blog. Just about everyone he writes about is some sort of “Legend”, especially if it’s someone he’s worked for or with. Poor old me had to be content with learning from ordinary people.

Me personally? A bit over 552,000 and still on the original motor. How many hours on the clock?
Now don’t hold back Rory. Confession is good for the soul.I can happily say that the feeling is not reciprocal from some of the, ahem employers![]()
