Ah didn't realise who the seller was. Customers son in law.
Dont forget inflation.. Thats £33K now. What’s ironic is when I sold my last backhoe in 2016 I couldn’t give it away!! 6 yrs old full spec contractor, not a scratch on it & I got 25k for itcould or ran it to death and probably got more for it if I sold it this week..8years later!
Does that make a difference!?Ah didn't realise who the seller was. Customers son in law.
As far as I know he's straight enough. Me and a mate went to his yard to look at a tractor onceDoes that make a difference!?
The original photo shows the (blurry) details of the last owner. Managed to track him down (Widegates in Looe) and he has been very helpful. Dealer sounds AOK but he needs to be excited about my PX stuff otherwise its not looking good!As far as I know he's straight enough. Me and a mate went to his yard to look at a tractor once
You would get a nice one for that.I still keep thinking about swapping my cx75 for one- I actually think the backhoe would get more use tbh
Plus I run one vehicle- if that's having worked done I'm buggered for the day/s at least a backhoe I can tootle to work in that- backup vehicle- good at clearing cyclists out the way too I imagine.
Bloody hell that nearly as old as me! I would however like something that my father can climb into with his seized ankle. If those hours are genuine then that has done less than an hour a week. Looks clean so not impossible it genuine?Auto Trader Plant - New and Used Plant For Sale

Anyone care to offer an idea of the difference in price/value between a base spec stick machine versus a top spec pilot machine (all other things/hours/age/condition being equal)Take your wallet
isn't that the one that sold for £10k ?Can't remember if this one has been discussed?

Yeah so it is. It's been on there for some timeisn't that the one that sold for £10k ?
Buying new? Used to be about a 3k option to get Servos. Probably adds £100 on used value on machines 20yrs old.Anyone care to offer an idea of the difference in price/value between a base spec stick machine versus a top spec pilot machine (all other things/hours/age/condition being equal)
Wow, is that all the difference you think ?Buying new? Used to be about a 3k option to get Servos. Probably adds £100 on used value on machines 20yrs old.
It’s always been the case when I’ve come to px them in, I’d usually have about 10k worth of options on a backhoe - servos, hammer lines, powerslide & contractor.. it would make bugger all difference to simple joe swapping in his standard machine. All it meant was I had to keep it 12 months longer than I would have to recoup the extra outlay like that. Might be slightly different these days while 2nd hand Market is strong for them.Wow, is that all the difference you think ?
Thanks for feedback.. I get it a bit better now. Export demand levels the playing field a bit I guess. It’s always been the case when I’ve come to px them in, I’d usually have about 10k worth of options on a backhoe - servos, hammer lines, powerslide & contractor.. it would make bugger all difference to simple joe swapping in his standard machine. Plus a lot of folk abroad want stick machines for the simplicity aspect.
