Don't know yet but it's the quickest the council have ever got themselves in gear. Big resurfacing gang on site for the worst section by 3pm. The other sections have blokes spraying something on them and having a road sweeper run over. Hell of a road closure and even worse that the M25 j10 closure is this weekend

They have just put an update out saying they are hoping to resurface 10miles before the weekend. One hell of a job.

Insurance won't have paid out that quickly. Council will still have to stump up the money first

Find out who's got the job? Up here if you nearby they normally pretty cheap. £7 quid last time
They are going to have a massive amount and in a hurry so won't want to be tramping that lot far?
And how badly contaminated will it be anyway? Rain will be washing it away anyway?

Roughly 1 Litre of diesel every linear meter…. Spread that over how ever many lanes they are taking out, it’s bugger all! I’d take 1k ton overnight!
