What size digger will lift a 1 ton bag?

8026 will lift a bulk bag, will lift it off a trailer but it's not ideal. If it's a self build and you have the space buy something north of 3t, you won't need to move the digger about so no point paying a premium for it to be mobile or better yet...........


Hire a machine of the correct size, as and when you need it. You won't need a digger there all the time, bulk bags you can just get delivery guy to drop where needed or buy it in loose

this. diggers are stupidly cheap to hire, GAP is doing us 5 tonners for 132+vat a week. Still have an itch for a mechanical paddy / micro though.

Wouldn't a digger and dumper combo be better? Old dumpers are cheap again now
