Anyone have any experience with these. Got an old paslode that needs a new battery think maybe I'll bite the bullet as have a timber frame fencing etc to commence shortly

Absolutely love mine.
Bangs 90mils in no sweat.
Had it along a paslode and Bostitch...was quieter and just as powerful.
Banged out 130 feather edge boards with it last Saturday np.
One complaint ..it's heavy if you doing a lot of over head or high stuff.

Great. Yeah heard it was heavy. I've got the old nimh battery £70 now for a genuine 1 another 250 and got a new gun that doesn't need gas and cheaper for nails too

Added to the thread anyone have the tyre inflator?
The m12 looks like it would do ok 75 Inc vat I think, m18 about 150

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
not a lot of help but I acquired one of Aldi's Ferex ones - twin pack - compressor and blower/air bed inflator for 25 quid
on one of their specials ... (already had batteries)I use them both all the time great for wheels (unless you're doing 13 tyre swaps
) and the blower is brilliant to get the burning drum roaring ...best 25 quid ever ... will miss both as/when they eventually die (but doing alright so far, a good 18 months in)

Have a m18 tyre inflator, fantastic. Lads use it for dumpers / ducks around the yard that go flat…. Not sure it will get you say 90psi on a large tyre but for get out of trouble really useful

I’ve got the m12 inflator, mainly used on expansion vessels but will do tyres obviously. Would go M18 if doing more tyre inflation.

I've got the M12 it's fine for pumping trailer tyres to 90 psi and it's fairly compact.
Only grip is the screw on end as can be a twat to get on and off at times
Also got the first fix M18 nailer it's a great nailer, little on the heavy side compared to a paslode or air nailer but works no issues

had the dewalt 1st fix gun, very powerfull. too heavy to be useful.
For fencing cant beat air nailer and a dewalt battery compressor.

I have the Makita 18v inflator. I'm all Makita so it had to be...Was around £50 when i purchased it bare.
It claims 160psi, not too sure about that.. I have taken trailer tyres up to 80 with no problem tho.
Also have the mak first fix gas nailer.Same again, happy with it. The batts are smaller tho,not the big 18v ones.

I’ve dewalt 1st and 2nd fix guns, bloody brilliant things! Yeah the 1st fix is abit heavy but I can smash a whole box of nails out on a roof in a morning no bother - with a single 5ah battery!
The dewalt nails have gone to crap but i now only buy timco ones at nearly half the cost.

Used it today quite impressed by it but it is bloody heavy, my only gripe you can't stand it upright on the front of it

Got a couple of the 8ah HO recently when they were on offer on PTM, haven’t used them in the angle drill yet to test them fully.

Interesting lmk how they are. Top handle saw eats the 5ahs for breakfast they overheat before even flat .

I use the HO 5.5 and 12 and they are noticeably better than standard. For the larger grinders and the chainsaw they are all I use.
Where you will really notice the difference elsewhere is on things like using the 3/4 gun with a UJ and long extension to get to rear spring shackle bolts. It lets the tool give more power than with a basic battery, and is often the difference between it coming loose or not.

@kabin man I have the Makita model as well. Is there any way to lock it on, that it knocks off when pressure is reached?
It's a right pain standing around for it to inflate a high volume tyre.
