Not really as its about access, we do inside work with 1.7t kubota which goes in 80% of our renov jobs after which we hire a micro ....urgggh

But 6t with tilty pretty much replaces 3t machine if you can move it that is.

Something like 2t with tilty that went down to 1m wide would be ideal partner for 6t.

Yeah I agree- I often spend my day musing about machine combinations. I have 3t because it's the biggest thing I can tow, 8t because it's the biggest thing that will get on the majority of properties and 1.8t because it's the biggest thing I can fit on a trailer with loads of attachments and get through a garden gate. If I had to just have 2 machines and not think about transport- then a Wacker ET20 (2.2t with expanding tracks) and the Case CX75 would cover pretty much every job I'd undertake

But thinking on ....most of the time take I take canopy off little kub to go inside, which rules out the 2.2t cabbed machine.

Just an update,
I have now settled on a LIUGONG 9018F 100 hrs on it, can only find positives on it, i will be the only one using it and it’ll be looked after.

I also managed to find a private sale for an oldy 2007 KX61-2x 3k hours, very tidy been looked after and just had a major service which will do some humping and dumping both machines less than 4 yr old kubota with over 2k. oh the Kx even comes with a tidy ifor trailer, spent hours & hours over thinking looking and comparing, reading the forum.
Thanks for the help, might do a review on the liugong as i know how much some of you like chinese brands……….

I looked over a liugong when my dad bought his Wacker. TBF it looked pretty well built

Rather limits things that said I've been looking around alot lately to replace 216. The best I have seen so far in terms of build quality hasn't been Jap but Wacker(Austrian) and volvo (French believe it or not!) haven't looked at JCB though TBF.

Why did you go for a 1.8, I thought you were set on a 2.8?

I had a drive on a 1.8 at plantworx, seemed as fine as you can tell from a 5 minute test drive and a decent free hat

what's the KX61 then?

2.6t. so he's got a new 1.8t liugong and an older 2.6t Kubota for less than a newish Kubota with 2000hrs on the clock- kit that's only a few years old is still asking top money in my opinion. Hardly worth it- either but old or just go new as they're definitely coming down in price a bit lately
