So main uses Id have in mind would be on a riddle bucket sorting stone from soil, then setting in the big base stones in a wall/Devon hedge anything up to 2 ton but usually around 500+1000kg. Would have to have a thumb on for this. Installing larger granite features like big gateposts and clapper spans etc Any one have any thoughts on a backhoe for this?
Incidentally here on Dartmoor 30 yrs ago it would have mostly been backhoes doing the granite walling- swinging them in on chains etc. But times have moved on- perhaps for good reason!

Sounds like the perfect machine for the job to be honest.

My problem is that I don’t seem to do much ‘heavy’ work.

so IF you sell it what sort of figures are we talking ? ... might need to do some 'priming' ;):giggle: ... I could get really enthusiastic about a BHL on servos:)
I’m inspired to carry on…

I gave £15k for it and must have spent 4k on it in oils, filters, wear parts but mainly time. So I want to give it a fair crack, it’s a good spec machine and I’d struggle to find one again for the money I reckon.

I’ve a breaker for it that I paid 2k for and haven’t used yet either 🤦‍♂️

To be fair I doubt it will loose that much money so worth persisting with it for a bit. What's it like on the road? Suppose you probably only go a few miles for a job😂
