I think it is a building built on piles that they have subsequently decided to dig out an underground car park. Looking at how horrible the ground conditions are I can see why they built it on piles.

I noticed all the piles and beams and couldn't quite suss what they were about with it ??
do you suppose they've 'added' water into the equation to assist in the dig out? no way could they have even dreamt of piling into/onto those ground conditions

It’s odd as they appear to be digging out upto a wall at one point suggesting it’s filled up since construction. Looks difficult and expensive!.

's why i wondered if it had been flooded .... but then the pile bases say otherwise ...... 'tis an odd one TBH

The whole thing is weird. Intersting though. I did wonder about it being frozen when they built it and subsequently has thawed, but in all honesty, no idea.
Just looked at the blurb and it says it is a Swiss hospital, but doesn't give any more details. Must be quite stressfull working between all those piles, trying to get it out as fast as possible, but not hitting any of them. Bet there would be major whinging if you dinged a few. Height restrictor would be handy as well.

I've ridden similar on a trials bike ..... but not with such an horrendous drop off ..... sod trying that on a road bike

Looks like the same machine. Can’t imagine they are big enough for floatation, but I guess they provide plants of traction in slop.

in all the time the common market/eec/eu has existed they have never had their accounts audited, or even managed to make them balance ....
there was a whistle blowing book years ago by a woman who was brought in to try and manage the accounts, who could'nt even get them to look vaguely right .... she didn't last long when she started queryng stuff ... like expenses ... eg .. One MEP was claiming for a 4 grand ride on mower to maintain his garden .... in a 6th floor flat .... fkn gravy train ... always was and always will be ... French'll be the next out IMHDO and not far behind us i'd wager ... the krauts are wetting themselves .. someone's gonna have to find £350 Mil a week to fill the hole we leave
