Nope they strap themselves down cant find video now but at the flick of a switch the bolsters extend two arms flick over the load then the bolsters retract and as they retract the two bars over the top hook into eachother

You want to get to the APF show later this month for a look if that sort of stuff floats your boat - the kit on show and working there is amazing!
I thought one of the prerequisites for a tractor to be allowed to do more than 20mph legally was a physical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels (not just hydraulic steering) - surely that must be the same for road-going lorries too?

There is another video linked to that one where the whole crame is covered in cameras and is operated from the pasenger seat via a virtual reality headset between these setups the one above and some of the chipper trucks ive seen i think it must be fair to say timber in Scandinavian countries must be a more profitable industry than here

and yet it's still cheaper to buy timber out the docks than from home producers ..... by a lot, in some cases.

there was a brand new 'board plant' built not far from here, up the valleys, with HUGE grant funding ..... was 1/3rd of a mile long .. wood and chips in one end .. board product out the other ... was run for one test run and never ran again....
product at the docks was 30% of the cost of what they were going to produce.

God only knows what the cost of it all was to the Welsh tax payer ... no jobs .... no factory ... all gone now.
I had two cranes in there 7 days a week, erecting steel when they were building it

Rassau I. E., Ebbwvale Aiden .... bloody scandalous ..... they knew, before they broke ground, that the product they planned to produce could be bought for 30% of the production costs, off the docks, imported.
Bloody job creation scheme for the builders and plant manufacturers ... would've been cheaper to give everyone involved a huge wedge of cash and leave them all at home
