Hi all ,hydraulic pump snapped all the bolts off the mounts on a jcb loadall 530/120 year is a 1994
Any ideas why ?????

Gear pump mounted on the front pully? Pump has most likely failed/seized. Or maybe just lose bolt which eventually snapped

Would this cause the bolts to shear off all four thou ??? recently had new pump fitted

Not tightened the bolts up properly when fitted would be my guess…

Or overtightened. Loose ones fall out.

Good old plant fitter with biggest Milwaukee impact gun giving every bolt a good 10seconds of full impact, then abit more for good luck

Hydraulics stopped working, new Parker pump, fitted and housing. All okay again

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
I'm going with Bri's theory ..... waaaaaaaay overdogged bolts hanging in there - barely
