I was speaking just lately of relaunching myself with a better mini digger. Had been working flat out on sorting my late Dad's estate (think obsessive compulsive hoarder's prog) & was all set to put property on market for Easter. Wet weather brought a 12ft high by 29ft long retaining boundary wall down about 3 weeks ago. This holds up higher ground behind dads place so solicitor executor says them to pay. I can see this settling into a Dickensian legal dispute & me getting nothing out of it as usual.
Think the JCB GT or really the used Bobcat E10 out of the window for now. Only say this because it must seem to you others that I am always on the edge of something but never actually do it. Sad because I had a little job lined up, seems though the guy is in no hurry. 002.JPG

That must be the world’s strongest / luckiest greenhouse!!!
Can’t say that retaining wall is going to be a easy fix.. 😖

Not cheap of course but looks just about perfect situation for platypus anchors. 0 disturbances to anything else.
Failing that can't you batter it back and leave it

Are Platypus anchors the drilled in rock anchors & stainless netting done for instance by this firm who do much work in my area
The land above is the garden of the house above, this land already slopes up to a public footpath which crosses the garden & has utilities in it. So the above house has a upper & lower garden split by the public right of way. Do not think it poss to batter it back. No digger could get there anyway unless it was lifted in by a huge crane needing closure of the road below - just not worth it
Greenhouse may be lucky, not so the old GPO battery shed which got flattened, I had been looking for something in the shed the afternoon before the wall came down!
Not sure who is going to have to pay for all this, owner of land above is looking into her insurance situation, will get better pics next time I go down.
Would not be so bad but I am 63 this Easter Mon! thinking I will get nothing much out of this now!

Vertical Technology are a good firm, I've done work for them with Arthur Parker... Nice chap and they like straightforward people.. Will be pricy but right.

The Plat anchors are a good system, you put them in using a beaver pack gun. We did a load a year or two ago.
IMHO I'd suggest to next-door your willing to loose part of the garden to allow them to build the wall easier if they are paying. Half a meter won't make a huge difference to sale price by the looks of it.
