watched it on the box lunchtime - 500kg and looked like someone'd been excavating a trench .... would've been one hell of a bang (and a hole afterwards) .... TBH they have no option other than to move it ... no way could it be detonated in the town .. certainly would not want to be within a 1/4 mile of it when it gets moved and clearing all residents from the route down to a slipway to get it seaborne ...... reckon a chopper ride on a very long rope'd've been a more sensible way of shifting it

exactly ... and knowing the state of the roads generally and particularly in Plymouth (as baaaaad as round here) I would no way wanna be driving that .... as said, they have the area cleared and it's not like they don't have every resource know to man ..... fly it out
..... a very long way out and just drop the bugger in very deep water

news just said it was some guy building an extension on the back of his daughter's house ..... let's hope he wasn't doing it on the QT and had everything in place, or the planners're gonna be on him in some order
