Posting a picture to highlight an important matter! Driver survived after hospital stay. In case of death, I would not have posted a picture!
I was a site manager and on site when it happened. This shows how important it is to have a good distance with a pit between the machine and the pile of stone when loading in piles or piling in piles/at height.
The driver was stuck for a long time until firefighters arrived in a helicopter from Tromsø with cutting equipment. Fortunately, the driver was fine, and he was lucky

That...is why you have a decent rops...
Linde have bullet proof glass on top as well as rops ..dad reckons it saved his bacon a few times with dodgy pallets of timber...a 8ft board coming down from 5m goes nicely through a rops...but bounced off glass .
