What’s worse is no one has a bloody clue how to go about it yet! I’ve a site going through planning at the moment and my eco consultants (80+ eco warriors on the books) are none the wiser, telling me I needed the BNG for the planning permission (£2000 fee!!!) when infact we didn’t need it at all! Just another money making scam!!

Here is the really crackers bit, a single planning app for a barn conversion is costing us nearly 20k now with all the consultant fees etc! Fair enough some of it is relevant, but why the heck do I need to do a bat survey BEFORE the planning app?
Why can’t it be conditioned if passed, it has absolutely no relevance to the app being passed or not! That’s a 6k chunk all burnt if the app fails

Common sense ain't common anymore. It's now all geared to extracting as much from you as possible from the out set...usually implemented by the person who lacks the above.

I'm not a farmer, have no connections to farming, other than friends who do and aside from the odd comment in TFF, can't see any reason this mob'd be targeting my inbox with their blurb, or even have my email addy ... so add up two and two and decide where they're getting their info.????
