Saw white in a little petrol station in Godalming for £1.29 last week.
Otherwise it's £1.33 currently.

Over a 50 litre tank that's £2 difference. Not worth your time for you to go out of your way for white, I don;t know why people get so hung up on it.

Found out last week that the Red Diesel we pay a little extra for (about 3ppl) Does'nt contain any Bio Content 🥰 Makes it serious value for money in my book!

sure you ain't getting bent over there Rory ....... red's only white with the dye in it and no road duty paid .. dye gets put in somewhere down the supply chain ..... 'tain't made specially :sneaky: ... have had Shell deliver white and had the dye put in in my tank, by the driver, before now, when I used to have a tanker load

No,good local firm, used them for a long time.... came up in conversation that they "Might" have to go over to type with FAME if there current source becomes unavailable, however we are lucky in that the fuel depot that supplies them also supplys several marinas that are selling clean fuel as a separate grade to FAME type.

Seems to be a JET distributor thing, but we have had no issues with our fuel unlike others and that is the only thing I can attribute it to.

When Curly Humphreys set up his JET chain he was cheap .... 'cos he bought the dregs from the bottoms of the storage tanks, at the refineries and in those days a bit of crap in the fuel had little or no effect on the 'primitive' engines that burnt it ..... Curly sold up having made his fortune selling tish and I have no idea how the chain operates these days ...... but .... as said red is white with a dye in it ....... I'd want a written guarantee that their supplies are solely petroleum based, before paying over the odds
