do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
Been watching that. High Tip more use for me though. Less than half new price - wouldnt say that overpriced? MuckTruck is over 2.5K+vat now.
makes this look pretty competitive then

Does look cheap. Probably get what you pay for long term with Muck Truck. Dad bought one for the farm nearly 20 years ago and it will still start and run, although frame has rusted through from excessive contact with manure. Not sure I would want to pull the lumag out of the shed in 5 years time after a winters neglect and expect it to do a days work without any hassle like my Max does.

Not seen one this size with swivel looks a handy tool but over priced

That’s quite near me.. I’m tempted. It’s quite a big lump. I’d like to know if it would go broadside in the back of the GH1054BT or not 🤔

What size is that trailer then? My high tip version will go side ways on my 1.82m wide plant trailer with step folded up.

I gave less than that for my 3 ton tracked dumper but I guess compactness has a price. I’ve the next size up from it in swivel which is a handy tool

Trailer is 1620mm. Dumper is 2m plus step, but if you swiveled the skip it might sit crosswise okay.. Its quite a big little lump really. 3 cylinder and 1m wide . Is your one a ride on?

My swivel is ride on yes, think the dumper will be less than that as I have high tip version and it isn’t that long.

I have been offered it for £4000.........Might be time to sell the mucktruck and move up a notch. I wanted a high tip for loading IW tipper but I would think the Kubota would pretty much fill the trailer from the rear using the ramps, especially if you can spread it a bit with swivel.

They’re a little interesting on ramps etc might want to try it first before committing to loading trailers that way, we’ve got ramps in and out garden and we’ve been using two dumper rather than going up and down the ramps! You can always of course go up and down ramps loaded it’s just a bit hairy and ifor ramps aren’t the grippiest think you’ll find loading over side with high tip easier. But I’d have that one at £4k if it wasn’t other end the country. Unless you try it and don’t like it can pallet line it to me lol

Hmmm. I have aluminium ramps as well which are more slippy than the steels....

What am I looking at here? Not seen one like this before with with steels front to back under the normal ones? First glance I thought it was just sat on some offcuts to keep it off the floor.

I'm off to look at it tomorrow.. any advice? My knowledge of this bit of kit is close to 0
My mental check list is.
Engine from cold start.
Check all functions
Check hour meter is actually ticking (280 is low, but paint condition seems to match?)
Leaks.
Engine oil clean..
Coolant clean and glycol concentrate.
Anything else to look out for?

Mucktruck seeing very little use as Belle Warrior push barrow seems almost preferable. We use tracked carrier for lumps. Thinking this swivel tip might be a nice companion to the E10 on the farm project and also clean enough for use on the domestic jobs.

Yeah check tracks and sprockets

How it starts
Hydraulic functions

Etc

They’re pretty resilient be handy tool if it was nearer I’d have it to go with high tip and dx10

If you don’t have it might see if my light haulage mate down that way anytime soon

If it's as clean as it looks I'll take it. If I try it and don't like it then I will give you first refusal :)
