Glad I got mine done as even though the mileage has jumped up I can't replace it with anything new, so will hopefully see out a few more years before any major issues

I booked mine in today for diff recall. Asked how much for a 40k service which inc filters and oil, 750 odd quid! Doing it myself ordered stuff this afternoon

I literally laughed in her face and broke down the 2 days it would take me just to get there and back and probably 3 tanks of diesel just to get there.. it’s 520 miles on way for me not including the boat lol.. I then said that the agreement I had with them was for their ford centre In Northern Ireland to do it which I have in writing from ford… phone went quiet and then oh so you’d like us to keep you on the waiting list for northern Ireland then???
Im sorry but am I being too uptight or is that the biggest load of Shi*e you have ever heard from a company? Especially as it’s meant to be a good will gesture on there behalf?
Also I asked about getting the ranger transported by Woodside motor freight who are Northern Ireland based and could do the haulage of my ranger there courtesy one back and then courtesy one back and mine home for £1000.. ferry’s alone where working out at £1200.. to which ford said no we don’t do that and it isn’t cost effective??? Am I missing something?

There is a Ford Ranger rusty chassis group on Facebook.There have been a few people in Scotland that had similar things said to them.

I think in the end Ford collected a number of vehicles together and sent them to Dagenham by train.

Well she was adamant that I had to do it, but no harm no sane person would do that it well from Northern Ireland.. ferry’s and driving nearly 10 hours one way, I don’t think so when I can wait a bit longer and get it done 15 mile from home..

One thing folk forget about Mone....she didnt get where she has by sitting on her arse....
Personally I think it's hilarious...all the righteous indignation from civil servants and other Muppets who made one massive cockup in the PPE shitshow and now hoping to bury her quietly ...not happening. The COVID saga continues 😑
