Ever repaired one?
It's beaten me ATM. Cheapo bergen just stopped on a roof sheet job, finally decided to sort it as I need it ...
Got it spinning again by hand but assemble it again and no joy.

Anyone an expert ? Not really ripped air stuff apart before.

Or am I wasting my time 😒

Update ..or not 😀
I gave up and slung it.

Any recommendations for anything decent for cutting box section sheets?
before I go out and get more red stuff?🫣

for straight sheets cuts

we gave up on nibblers years ago now use the metal cutting blades on rail saw namely I bought a cheap evolution (was a few years ago, was only rail saw that cut metal then) but the other brands have their own metal cutting circular saws and the red one is pretty good

sweep off the swarf or it rusts the plasticote

grinder disk tends to melt the plasticote and you get peel back though
depends on how hard you go at it though .. also cut an end that's gonna be under the flashing

have seen a few of the yanks on youtube cutting profile wit a TCT blade in a circular but with the blade reversed--doesn't rip the sheets and seems to work well

Hence my question as not going to be covered.

. Was also slightly worried about the surrounding area combustion swiftly...not so much this week lol.
the metal cutting blades don't spark but can throw stuff at your face although the newer designs like Milwaukee and dewalt are better

I have the Milwaukee metal shear and nibbler. The shear doesn't get used as much as the nibbler. Corded nibbler hasn't been used since the cordless has been purchased.
