Loaded up last night and out all day running a new oil feed between tank and house. Found a sewer 2 inches below concrete, had to be careful to miss it with concrete saw. Found some weird footings or concrete encased drains that we had to tunnel under. Stayed dry all day and got it finished. E10 earning its keep. MuckTruck Max came our for a rare play but didnt see much use. Loaded spoil straight into IW tipper.

Trying for a clean 6-8" trench but concrete was only about 1-2" thick and laid over cobbles so it came up however it felt like. Messy.

Widened the entrance into my old yard over the 3 days, new fence up on Monday, dug out and ran sub base in yesterday then levelled it all today.. at least 160ton of aggregate in that entrance alone!
@Mogman can get in blindfolded & sideways now!!
Just realised my cones had been pinched since I took that picture and locking up to go home!!!!

Do you not need drainage to stop surface water running on to road these days? Road is higher there is a slight speed hump’ at the threshold to stop the road water coming into the entrance. It’s 40ft wide now and about 1ft deep, had a lot of hardcore ran onto this site over the years. Eventually it will all be concreted, just hard to plan it in with it being arable and two separate yards up there!
