Well I’m a total convert. Like a duck to water, it’s like I’ve been using it for a year. Plenty of hours on a rotating grab and a powertilt have got me the muscle memory (once I got the pipes the right way round!).

It’s so nice not to have to move the machine. I reckon I’m gonna want it on most jobs now .

The geometry is bob on. Loading a dumper is so much easier than with the old powertilt. The steelwrist grader is just perfect for size and weight. You loose a bit of breakout with the top hitch but you can work round it, you very rarely need to actually crowd. Lack of slew force is the only real complaint but to be expected on such a small machine. The bobcat joystick rollers work well with it. Overall it’s about as good as I think it could get on a 1.9 tonner.

I never doubted it, just couldn’t justify the cost compared to other things.

Yep swap it between 3t and 8t all the time, just have to get a second mounting kit, that way you can have all the cables permanently in place and tidy, only minutes to change between machines.

Look at the back by the towbar where one of the dopey buggers reversed into a trailer hitch (immediately below the camera!!!)……. That didn’t upset me at all……….

Do you remember back in the early days, when someone would buy a new machine with a tilty and start a whole thread on it? And it would go on for pages and pages!!

Now it's like buying a new set of tracks... even though they cost twice what they did back then too.

Isnt really such a thing as too much firewood -in the french countryside your wealth was judged by the size of your firewood reserve !
