oh I don’t want it😳 hateful things😡 cab roof way too low, have to crank your neck to see out the windscreven🤪
The fella doesn’t like it as you can’t see the winch from the cab very easily, reckons Matadors kick the arse out of this thing. I just think it looks ace!

Yes I’ve had a matador💪💪 only thing that stops one is a dodgy cable😳

also had a 6x6 reo with timber frame and winch on, mechanical drive would pull or stall the engine, an animal

So now my blog has been well and truly hijacked I may as well join in :ROFLMAO:
Did I tell you that a mate of mine runs a Military Vehicle restoration group at Raydon Airfield.
The one where I was digging out for concrete a few weeks ago.....
Battlegroup Raydon
During my many visits I get to see and often play in the various vehicles.
The guys there always give me loads of banter.
They are ex forces vets whilst I am only a simple ex law enforcement vet
Anyway here's a few photos for you guys to dribble over, starting with the Bedfords

Any loads more stuff, photos and videos on their Facebook pages.
Now if you are free at the weekends then why not offer up your services a volunteer.
Must be good with spanners, a needle gun, wire brush and a broom 🤪

Meanwhile back to the TLC on my Navara......
.....every year since I bought it I do an OIL SERVICE every year regardless.
Even though Nissan says 24 months or 24,000 miles I think it important to do it with a DPF vehicle 😇
Did you know that it stops doing a DPF Regeneration IF it detects that the engine oil needs to be changed?
Dropping the oil is easy with the truck over my pit.
But it's been 2 years since changed the oil filter. The main stealer did it last year......

IMG_1731.jpeg

On the NP300 the oil filter is on the front of the engine which is accessed from below after removing these TWO under trays

IMG_1732.jpeg

Another reminder of why I hate and don't trust Main Stealers.
There should be 4 plastic body clips locking the bottom of the bumper to this big under tray
All missing no wonder my bumper lower edge was floppy
IMG_1735.jpeg

Under trays off and there's the filter. Sandwiched between the bottom hose, anti-roll bar and power steering hose 🤪

Anyway bit of basic spannering saw the job completed in my nice warm workshop.
Used Millers Oils XF Premium C4 5w-30 synthetic engine oil.
Obtained from Opie Oils - great price and service and often delivered the very next day
