Livermore Migatronic mig welder

Pretty sure the wire feed motor has packed up, can I check somehow?
If not any idea where I can get 1, suppliers number is on the front unsure if they are still trading be great to get it back up and running again

Livermore Welding Supplies were trading in 2010 when i retired and had been for decades ... colchester ave. cardiff 02920495217 is he last number I have for them -- also in Weston - Super - Mare ..... dealt wit them for years - fella called John Aspley ... 'til they took the piss on some prices and that was the end of the relationship ... John lived in Aber .. if he's still with us

Migatronic - you should find a motor for that on ebay I'd have thought ... very recognised brand

I`ve got a Migatronic like yours, also had a wire feed fault.
Have you tried powering the motor direct (not via the welder)? Check on the label it could be DCv.
Migatronic`s of that age/range have a know problem with the PCB, which often affects the wire feed. My motor checked out OK, so guessed it was the PCB at fault I sent it to Technical Arc in York, off the back of a recommendation. They repaired it and posted it back around £70 I think.

Phil Weekes also does repairs ... give him a call too ... smaller outfit than Livermores .. smaller overheads ;)
