8k thanks
I've been watching Isuzu Grafters for the last 4 years. Nearly pressed the button on one once during Covid, shame I didn't as it would have gained value since then. There's a few tippers popping up now. What's your budget? Edit, just seen 8K. That's not much for a decent tipper, you'll be buying a project surely?I'm on the look out for a 3.5t tipper. I've had 2 cab star's and like that type with no bonnet. Ideally twin wheels as the single wheel one's ive had tend to get stuck on a dog turd.
So if anybody knows of anything or see's anything, let me know.
Cheers Dylan
Anyone had one? Looking at a N35 flat bed for next year as an occasional use run about . Cheap enough compared to everything else new nowI've been watching Isuzu Grafters for the last 4 years. Test drove a couple. Auto would be best for towing.. manual box is disappointing. careful though as later models have lower towing weights on auto box IIRC. Think the earlier 1.9L autos has a 24v autobox adaption on the side of the manual boxandkeep the 7000kg GTW. Grafter is built as a 4.5 ton for the Australisian market I think? So downrated for a 3.5t. It's a very capable and maneuverable little truck and if mobility is more important than comfort then it's awesome. Here's a question, I used to have a cabstar, older one. It was great as a tipper but gutless at towing. Would the newer Isuzu grafters be able to do a proper hill start towing the full 3.5t?
My mate bought 1 coming up for 1st mot beginning of January rates it highly says for a 1.9 pulls like a trainAnyone had one? Looking at a N35 flat bed for next year as an occasional use run about . Cheap enough compared to everything else new now![]()

Good to know .... litterally half the price of MANMy mate bought 1 coming up for 1st mot beginning of January rates it highly says for a 1.9 pulls like a train
Very different beasts. If I was dreying 2t of stone around tight cornish lanes I'd be choosing Isuzu. If I was up and down A30 it would be tortuous. I chose a 4.5t Movano over the Grafter when It was my time.Good to know .... litterally half the price of MANand I'm not driving it ...much

I'm not vat registered so that affects things. Plus if the barn conversion job starts in January, I'll be just travelling a few miles down the road for a few yearsI've been watching Isuzu Grafters for the last 4 years. I like the grafters but seem a bit big compared to the cabstarMates got this for sale around £17k think he said tipper and tail lift low mileage 1 old boy owner he’s selling it for.
What is most important? Payload / maneuverability/ reliability/ efficiency? Tipping trailer not an option?I'm not vat registered so that affects things. Plus if the barn conversion job starts in January, I'll be just travelling a few miles down the road for a few years
Cabstar 3.5t tipper less common. Toyota Dyna can be good little trucks also.I like the grafters but seem a bit big compared to the cabstar
