Looking at getting a vertical baler for the workshop. We are continually struggling with cardboard volume. Would expect 1 or 2 bales a week. Needs to be single phase really as 3 phase is on site but would cost a few ££ to get a metered supply organised.
Know nothing about them . This one has popped up locally for sub £1000. Anyone any experience of these things? Thanks

Do you have space for a briquette machine, shred the cardboard dampen slightly then stick through the briquetter with sawdust if you have some then sell by the bagful

Probably just Chuck them at the landlord - he owns and runs a rustic waste handling business

We have lots of rustic waste handling businesses round here. They seem to drive high side transits and handle waste in lovely rustic lay-bys.

His operation has real skip lorries, so not quite as shonky as you suggest. I chuck him all my steel and wood and card and plastic and hardcore and soil for £0 seems a fair deal.

To be fair to smiffy, you were the one who said rustic! why do you need a baler, doesn’t he have one?

It's about 250m away and usually broken. Plus his yard is a health and safety nightmare so don't let the lads go round there. Want/need something indoors next to our own well lit/warm/safe recycling area.

I miss those days. We are on a registered waste transfer station here so smoke is something that you don’t want the EA or neighbours seeing. Over on the farm I can burn what I like
