I’ve never had anything to do with GRP, or whatever.
good call that ..... pretty much the same material as some bumpers etc ... Renault in particular used to use very similar materials to form their bumpers, but don't know about present dayBest bet would be to contact some of the mobile car repair companies "Dentmaster" etc.
They can leave bumpers like new, I'm sure they could do the same here. And the advantage is they come to you.![]()
Previous owner I guess. I’ve not had chance to wreck anything.........................yetCan’t help with repair advice....but how need you manage that?![]()
Never thought of that, I wonder what they’d charge.Best bet would be to contact some of the mobile car repair companies "Dentmaster" etc.

So many things I wish I knew about. Not sure I want to learn on my own machine.someone has obviously pried out those switches with a tyre lever![]()
used to have a mate who was a GRP wizard, repaired a crane cab for me that I bought with a damaged cab ....
I'd guess that that is a pretty simple one Chris and could be sorted with a little powder/resin mix and a bit of fine mat in layers..just need a support backing whilst doing it ... then abrade to a finish![]()
Mate, what's the worst that can happen? It doesn't stick, peels off and you're back at square one.So many things I wish I knew about. Not sure I want to learn on my own machine.![]()
Worth a thought, thanks.Get some Chemical Metal, made by Plastic Padding, should get it in a car accessory shop or the like? It’s grey in colour and can be sanded down. Will surely be close enough for a digger?
ThanksP38 body filler.
At that price I might have a go; just need some grey pigment.id try fibreglass kit as its cheap
