I would love to but it’s not worth the move.

The roadside stuff is just that- roadside. So easiest to load the truck with the digger after stacking it next to the entrance. I wouldn’t be able to get the forwarder side on to load a truck either, there’s only 8ft max.

And I snuck the ranger in yesterday after grading the bank a little. This lets me pick up stuff from the other side of the plot where I’m removing it from next to the houses.

It’s seems barely worth running the firewood back to the yard in such small quantities, but there’s no other way of moving it as no staging area. I can’t stand to see it wasted, it’s processor grade, and if you can find processor grade ash it’s £80 per ton delivered in. View attachment 52302View attachment 52303

Forwarder porn at some point I promise! I was all excited about using it on this job too…

What weight do you reckon this is? I’m thinking just over half a ton. 8 foot lengths

Tidying up and getting banks built back up with what we dug out for dam, changing some drains out hopefully dry track out. Dug a swale on inside edge filled with clean stone now to build rd box up with mot and Plainings.

Big storm coming this weekend so big push tomorrow to get done and away.
