Poland is the same, seen a school trip walking among moving diggers, a small telehandler driving full pelt up a footpath and people jumping out of the road, not one feck given, made a nice change. Here’s some from poznan in June, diggers right beside us at a pub. How did things in Britain get so soft

One word ..money...all this HSE bollocks costs big bucks. Just a glance at any HS2 site and it's plainly obvious what's going on and why it's over budget. Does it make us any safer? Rory's regular posts suggest not....and dont see Europeans dropping like flies because there toilets dint have flags outside?

Delivery company didn’t deliver my gabions on Friday some poor excuse and no communication from them, so anyway got a call from driver today lost. I’m like we’re on other job you didn’t ring like your driver said you would. Anyway where we were was on his route back to depot so they turned up and 3 of them clearly ripped by forklift tine stuck in the middle of them to lift them. Very annoying.

We are back at the big holiday let we did a lot of work on, main contractor has now officially gone bust and this work never got done when they had it scaffolded for over a year! (Lime pointing) Been scheduled in for 6 months full week closure on customers so pressure on. Touch wood weathers given a good week, despite having the two scissors lifts we decided to scaffold it so Saturday I went and purchased £2k more layher scaffold. Thinking being we can sheet it and hessian it if weather does come in.

So today we were throwing it up and getting 3 different bay size variations of same system to work. Now it’s all sorted and up we can colour code it. My scaffolders would have charged me £1200 or more and they’d not have got it up when we needed it or down so nice to have some control back. Not got enough to do it all but lad I got it off has a bit more he’s still using on his self build over bawtry way, said I’ll have it when he’s done.

Same as mine then, it was mega on the 3cx which had a free flow return to tank, rotor would sit spinning freely for ages once it was turned off! Joysticks operated on the seat facing foreword, was a joy to use tbh. Just needed a lock on option for the hammer circuit as the old finger soon ached holding it down!

Mine was a 2010 model, so it didn’t have all these daft features that the newer ones have!
It was a twin pump machine, I had the pumps upgraded(under warranty!) too so it was a beast!
You’ll probably have to pull out some of the switches under the seat which tell the machine what way you’re facing to fool it, should work then?

Yeah swapped them around so arm worked forward facing but second you put in drive it cuts out the hammer line from working and won't rev on hand or foot throttle

What carrier co? 99%, he's tracked so a call to his office or the supplier will likely get you a better time or even his number if it's proper pallet courier.

Nice easy morning. Just a new gate and closing post, plus add more type 1 to ramp up the the stable concrete level. Ended up hanging it the gate internally, will have to pop back to take original hinge off as they are a diffecnt socket than the one for the coach screws I used today! Typical.


Sort of job where you take a lot of stuff, but it all makes it easy and more importantly, profitable. I had E19, tilt hitch and grading beam, ripper to scuff up existing type 1 and hook out old post concrete, plus grab for when that didn't work! Then auger for the clay and the niv comp to get the post right first time.

Only three miles down the road, so no pressure as could get tools I needed when I popped back for more loads of type 1. No labour costs, Will is borrowing my loader and bucklet brush to do his silage clamps this PM so gave me a hand for a couple of hours.

A nice jam job!
